Around the world, on 2 April, the birth day of the great Danish storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, children, students, teachers, publishers, authors, illustrators, translators and everyone who loves children's books celebrate.
Every year for World Children's Book Day, a different country takes on the task of creating the poster and message for the celebration.
This message is sent to children all over the world to highlight the value of books and reading and to reinforce children's love and interest in books and reading.
