The biggest sporting event of the city of Ioannina, the Tour of Lake, takes place every year on the third weekend of September, attracting thousands of runners from all over the country and abroad. Races of 10 and 5 km, 30 km dynamic walk and the original lakeside road "Mama - Karotsi", have as their main goal the promotion of Lake Pamvotida, the development of sport and volunteerism.

A week of cultural and sporting activities and events, aiming to highlight the importance of Pamvotida as a source of inspiration and for children to learn the history and local traditions.
