Schools of the Aggelonimou generation, the Filantropinon, the Epiphanios, the Giouma-Balanaia, the Maroutseios-Kaplanios, the Zosimaia schools, all renowed Schools of Ioannina, spanning for about six centuries of Education in the cradle of Letters, Ioannina.<\/p><p>The greatness of the Schools falls within their historical context and is connected to the residential development of Ioannina, with facts and people, who constituted important manpower that brought about the complete rupture with the Middle Ages and \u201copened the way to civilization, changed the economic and commercial terms of Ethnicity and paved the way for a political Renaissance\u201d.<\/p><a
