The Francophony Reading Marathon takes place on the same day, at the same time both abroad and across several Greek cities, on the occasion of the celebration of Global Francophony Day on 20 March.

It is an event during which reading volunteers read successively book excerpts. In this event all the participants are simultaneously protagonists (readers), and also spectators (watching other readers).
