The World Council of Overseas Epirotans organized a main event, in cooperation with the PanEpirot American Federation, for the completion of two hundred years from the outbreak of the Greek Revolution, with the Director of Zosimaia Library of Ioannina Mrs. Vaia Oikonomidou as the central speaker.

The event took place online, in English, through Zoom platform on 27 March 2021. The event was saluted by the Gen. Director General Secretariat For Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, Mr. Ioannis Chrisoulakis and the Greek Ambassador in Washington Mrs. Alexandra Papadopoulou.
