It is a pilot action aiming at the use of tablets as educational tools since they have an immense potential of enriching educational fields by means of combining image and knowledge, particularly in courses like history, natural sciences, and geography.
Tablets are addressed to adults for digital reading, and can be used for accessing the digital library base, as well as other selected digital bases (literary, academic etc.) or for applications of particular interests (music, cooking etc.).
Special mention and attention needs to be made to the applications addressed to children. In this way, though various carefully selected applications, the young users of new technology can learn, play and familiarize themselves with foreign languages and technology in an always protected and safe context.
